When your Moving Day arrives, the first person you'll hear from is the moving crew supervisor. He will call to confirm the pick-up address as well as the drop-off destination and give you an estimate as to our moving crews arrival time. It is your responsibility to be there on moving day. If you cannot be there, you must designate a person to be present on moving day. Be assured that your items will be loaded and transported by professionally trained service providers experienced in proper loading techniques to minimize damage in transit.
When our moving crew arrives on your Moving Day, you'll actually meet your moving crew supervisor. He is there to direct your move so that everything goes smoothly during the moving process. If any questions or concerns might arise that our crew supervisor can't answer feel free to give your moving Coordinator a call!
The moving crew supervisor will conduct a walk-through of your home with you to find out if you have any special directions or needs, such as any items that need special attention, are extremely fragile, or may need disassembly, etc. It's also a good time to let him know about any items that you are leaving behind and our crew won't need to pack or move.
Once the moving crew supervisor has done a walk-through of your home, our crew will begin to wrap and pack any items that might need protection and were not protected by you in advance. We have years of experience in this, so rest assured that we respect your belongings and will handle them with care.
A-Plus-Movers knows how important it is to protect your home, so we use runners and special padding throughout the house to avoid any damage to carpeting, flooring, doorways and molding during the move-out. We will also use stretch wrap or padding to protect upholstered furniture or any other furniture that can cause damage to other items. Our loading team will load your goods onto the moving truck using strapping if necessary.
When we arrive at your moving destination, The moving crew supervisor will do a walk-through of your house to see where you would like the crew to place specific items.
Our moving crew will then unload and place your items as requested. If needed, we will reassemble items that were disassembled by our crew earlier (based on our reassembly policy).
Our crew supervisor will then provide you with a copy of the work order & bill order. Just sign and pay and we will be on our way! Feel free to leave us feedback on how your move went so we can improve our services!
